Worn Wild officially opens at 12 midday and closes at 5pm.
We suggest that at first you orientate yourself to the range of stalls, the products on show and services available.
Beginning 2012 we will now host photobooths where the audience get to dressup in our designer's wares and have a keepsake photoshoot. This is an amazing networking opportunity for any alt-models! Presented by Black Sunshine photography for a low cost of $10 per look its the most anticipated photobooth opportunity around.
If catwalk is your thing, we now host FREE public fashion parades in July each year as part of the Lord Mayor Student Welcome celebrations in the city. Also starting November of this year Worn Wild is sponsoring Catwalk Carnival in the Docklands on Saturday 17th. This replaces our previous MSFW shows in September and shines the spotlight far bigger and brighter on Melbourne's alt-fashion community. Please see www.catwalkcarnival.com for further details.
Please also be aware of any special promotions run on the day. We often have ‘sales' (where most of the designers offer discounts) or ‘showtimes' - when Worn Wild razzle dazzles you with a heady cast of top models, starlets and vicious vixens, all dressed and accessorized exclusively by the range of Worn Wild designers on display.
Here's a glimpse of how we've grown and the diversity of program you can expect at Worn Wild events: In past years we kick started the calendar with a bevy of talented performers frocked and rocked by select designers. Occasionally we've hosted free public workshops by our esteemed designers and head stylists.
Get an education in all things alt-styled!
As a special addition to our program during Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, Worn Wild annually hosted fashion catwalk. Our first one held in MSFW 2009 was an overwhelming success with a mashup of designers and styles. The 2010 showcase included interviews with the participating designers and 2011 we featured solo fashion parades on the hour every hour as well as highlights from our Design Exhibition held in August.
